I have been reading the posts here for some time and finally registered with creditnet today. My first post concerns two collection entries on my CR dating back to 1998. These two items were entered by Franklin Collection Services. Both were related to hospital bills which my wife and I were disputing with the hospital. The collection amount was $56 on one and $78 on the other. We eventually caved in and paid them both in 1998. Is there a likely success path for getting these two items removed? In light of the circumstances (disputed bills) would a contact with the Franklin Agency likely yield any results? Could the hospital help out at this point? Thanks for any opinions you might have on this matter. The information exchanged at creditnet is excellent.

have you tried simply disputing them with the cra? since they are paid and older, they may not verify and then they will fall off. I would try that first. if that doesn't work, I would try the good will letter.
I agree with the above post- dispute with the CRA as not mine and see what happens. NV Bone Doc True health comes from within
