    Thanks

Don't know , but I got turned down and several other people I know that have mid 600 scores.

Got approved for Target with lower scores. Not sure why Kohl's is so picky.

680 seems to be the magic number with Kohls.

My wife and I were in the store and we both decided to apply.

Our TU scores are bad due to alot of inquiries but other then that our credit is spotless. We decided what the heck!

My TU score is 653, Hers is 688.

I was denied and she was approved!!

I called Kohls and kinda got into it with the credit rep. I found out that Kohls is very score driven and you need at least a 680 to qualify. They don't care if your credit is spotless they only care about score.

When I asked why I was declined I was told to look at my TU report. I said...."yeah I have it right here it is spotless!"

She said what is your score and I told her 653, she said sorry sir your credit isn't spotless with that score!

I nearly hit the roof with them and went on and on.... I felt this was lousy customer service and got that "treated like a deadbeat feeling", my wife who got the card a week ago with a $2500CL got on the phone and closed hers immediately and stated she would contact their consumer relations department about the treatment.

About an hour later a supervisor called and talked to my wife. I ended up getting a card with a lousy $300CL and my wife agreed to re-open her account back up.

I will still probably close mine, I dunno yet.

If you don't have at least 680 TU, don't bother.
