I have a judgement listed on 2 of the CRA with a date of Nov1 - the other lists the date as Nov 16th. Could I dispute the judgement - stating I didn't have a judgement on Nov 16th and possibly get it removed?
just begin with a simple "not mine" dispute and see how that works. if it does not result in deletion, then look at the other inaccuracies (including dates) for possible celetion. always keep it simple in the beginning
I did that already - got one updated as being satisfied (there are three judgements listed on CRA). Since I have 2 left that are fully paid yet I thought I might try going after the date aspect of it. Will give it a try this week.
so you are saying that they are paid and the cra only updated one to reflect the correct status...... this is what i sued exp for. immediately do a letter to the cra's asking for procedures used to verify the accounts status. give them fifteen days and then ITS letter. TU will fold, exp will be harder. they may even delete after procedures....
Re: Re: Judgement dating and removal? Sorry, made a mistake in my typing. What I meant to say was - 2 ARE NOT fully paid for! One will be over the summer - not sure when the other will be but should be soon. I would just like to get all traces of them removed though.
Re: Re: Judgement dating and removal? Uniondiva...how can you sue for them updating the status if it's correct? Am I missing something....this happended to my mother with EQ.
Re: Re: Re: Judgement dating and removal? I think she meant to sue if they didn't update the status to satisfied, if they were satisfied. I left out a word in my response so it sounded like all my judgements were satisfied and they only updated one to reflect that.
