Re: Re: Re: Need Good Advice I would send them a notarized statement with your real signature on it. Make it state that you never applied for this credit or authorized it to be applied for in your name. If you didn't sign for the credit, then it is fraud on her part.
Re: Re: Re: Need Good Advice How about you other experts on the board would you agree with this approach?
Re: Re: Re: Need Good Advice Hey there everyone . I got another letter from these guys. That makes 3 to date with the application in all three of the letters. The latest one does not include the affidavit it just says: Enclosed is a copy of your application. Please review it and contact us immediatley if any errors exisit. This time it is signed by a person...not just a department. The question is should I send this person a letter saying hey that signature is not mine please delete the TL?
Re: Re: Re: Need Good Advice Well now I need input from the pros out there..George? Butch? Doc???? The office of the president sent me computer print outs of the total account history, a copy of the Application---that ex wife forged...and said your account was sold to Nasty Inc. Collection agency...... Now what should I do? Do I send them a letter saying the original application is not my signature???
Re: Re: Re: Need Good Advice Were you married at the time your former spouse took out this credit card in your name? If you were not married, you definately have her on fraud. You can claim you were the victim of identity theft, since, in essence, your wife stole your identity.
