I just pulled the report from worthknowing.com and they say they are joint with TU and they report EXACTLY the same as TU. Well on the worthknowing it shows up as a 'credit card' when it is a medical bill. Who do I dispute it with to get it taken off the CB or the creditor? Thanks!
No they are part of TU, sorry I should have said that. Another thing I have a paid charge off that I paid about 4 years ago that is now showing a balance if I report that as not mine will it be deleted?
You cannot dispute at WK website, must dispute at TU website. AND you must have a number from an old TU report. I have been doing it via fax, but it was off all day today.
If you do a search of worthknowing (aka worthnothing) on this board, you will see quite a few on this board do not value the service that it claims to provide. If you want an up to date version of TU, then dispute something and get your copy, with your score (it comes w/it). It's free if you dispute something. But really a more reliable (and I use that term loosely) source is truecredit. You can get your TU using their "creditxpert" (not to be confused w/credit expert) score for TU-however, I question the accuracy of this, as there was a difference of about 60 points between what Truecredit and my actual TU score was. But I would be verrrrrry careful of using worthknowing as a reference for your TU report.
Hi I am really learning alot from this website,I didnt know you can fax your dispute does experian aslo let you fax disputes?Have you had much luck this way? Would you mind giving me the number?I checked worthless.com and they have my report more screwed up than tu.Thanks for all the help, Pam
Everytime I type in credit expert into my browser it comes up with credit repair sites. Is credit expert part of one of the bureaus and what does it cost?
