The only thing I know about Hurley State bank is when I tried for financing on a Gateway computer. I was at Gateway's site and after I had configured the computer I wanted, I pushed the button for credit application and filled it out. Gateway uses three different banks to give you terms based on your credit rating. MBNA for excellent customers, another middle-of-the-road bank for so-so customers, and the one I got an offer from when I pushed apply, from Hurley State Bank to finance my Gateway computer at 27.99%. I said no way of course. And they pulled my Experian report to make that decision. Hope that helps!
They handled my account with Fred Meyer a few years back, but I think their contract ran out or something, and do not use them anymore. Other than that, I still hear about them every once in a while for small misc cards. Dustin
They handle my American Airlines credit card, but I know that they were acquired by Citicorp(sometime within the last year). Sister Girl
Hurley gave me 90 days no interest on a gateway back in dec. 2000. They checked Exp. At that time my exp. score was about 610. The credit limit was 1400. I paid it off in 90 days. They upped my limit to 1700. then. They are owned by citi. I had hoped they would be my entree back into citi's good graces. No such luck yet citi still hates me.
OfficeMax uses them also. And my question is this: If I were going to apply and wanted to know which CR they pull, what company do I look up? Hurley? Associates? Citi? Oooh, I'm getting dizzy!
