NCO-Medical Collection..

    I sent NCO a 2nd letter to validate debt. They sent me a printout from their system. I told them this was not sufficent and that I wanted something from the hospital. I will keep u guys posted. I may have to try and settle this for a deletion b/c they are being tough.

    Don't settle. If they haven't validated it, they have to delete it. Has the account been marked "in dispute" on your reports? Send them an intent to sue letter and watch how fast they cave.

    My concern is that the FTC opinions posted on this site are just that. "opionions". There is no clear cut answer for "proper validation". This billed is from 3/98 and I want it to go AWAY!! NCO is such a pain in the ANUS!!!!

    Run a search on Spears Vs Brennan. There is case law to back up the opinion letters.
