    Hi!
I was just wondering what affect a new mortgage had on your scores? Did your credit scores drop in the beginning?

I can't see all of our scores because of dumb blockage but from what I do se it is very random.

Husband's quifax dropped 40 points, yes, 40. Exp up 10 points, TU stayed the same.

I can only see my Equifax and it dropped 4 points.

    I can't figure it out.

Congrats on the house though. I think in the long run our scores will only go up once the payments start coming in.

It can take up to 6 mos for the mortgage to report. Your score may very well drop for a time because of the effect on average age of accounts, but should over time go up.
