here is the question...when a collection agency send you a notice they usually give you a 30 day notice to respond on the debt and if you dont they immediately assume its yours and you have no recourse.

Well, I recived a notice from a water bottling company POLAND SPRINGS and disputed it via certified mail and gave them 30 days to respond and show proof that the account is mine. Well, the 30 day limit expired and 2 weeks later i get a notice from a collection agency on this account. DO YOU BELIEVE IT ?? They ignore me and now I have a collection agency on my ass and I will NOT deal with collection agencies. What can I do now ??

    any suggestions out there

    thanks
