Does anyone know what this form is used for? A collector (law firm actually) that I paid almost a year ago somehow showed up on my credit bureau's a few wks ago w/ a balance. I was livid. The gen mgr said he would fix it on my CB. I told him I want proof. He faxed me a Universal Data Form and it is marked change - that previous delinquent history to be deleted, marked NO, and the Metro status Code is 68. Does anyone know what this means? How should it show up now on the CB?

a simple search of 'UDF' will give you plenty of info about this. Its the form that CAs, DFs, whatever you wanna call them, send CRAs when they want something changed. Read about them after you do a search, and you'll realize youre pretty lucky to have obtained a copy of one.
