question, but I am still going to ask it. Can someone explain to me exactly what that means after you file bankruptcy (it says this on my tu and exp credit reports. I also read that I should dispute these with the cra saying "I have not filed a bk with 0 liability 0 assets". Is it that easy to remove it

It's a start....some have had easy success and some haven't.

I wrote a letter to TU disputing my BK because of this. I simply wrote that I had never filed a 0 asset 0 liability bankruptcy. They also listed my attorney under "plantiff". I questioned that and asked them to deleted. It worked, though I suppose it will probably reappear eventually.

I hand wrote the letter and made as if I was clueless about credit repair. Sometimes I think a "below the radar" letter works better than a more formal one. I'll try it on EQ soon. EX already "verified".

    Good luck!

BTW, I think they put 0 asset 0 liability thing in there because it takes too much effort to research the real amounts and it isn't posted on the bankruptcy court's PACER system. They really don't care about the amounts. Neither do future creditors.
