    George,

I heard a lot of horrible stories about Chase from the interenet and do they have a good customer service and on-line payment. How do they compared to Citibank or First USA or other cards that you have? I bought a computer recently by using my Apple Instant Loan with the APR 10.99% fixed. We all knew no iknterest better than 10.99% APR. Did they jack up the rate in the middle of the terms? Thanks for your reply.

CHASE won't give limit increases with-out a credit report...BUT you can just get a 2nd or 3rd card...HIGHER LIMITS THAT WAY...

They have NEVER "JACKED" me like FIRST USA!!!

George, I am a long time Chase holder, they have offered me 0% on the $14,000 line, and I just saw on their website an offer for 0% on my $12,800 line. Just made an electronic payment to bring it to 0, so I may use the $12,000.

    George,

Thanks for your reply. First USA didn't jack up my rate and they lower my Yahoo! Visa to 10.99% var and Smart Visa to 11.99% because of my perfect payment history. Did Chase has any on-line payment like Citi,First USA ? How's their customer service? Personally I like BofA ,Citibank customer service and they are one of the best.

    George,

Thanks for your reply. It sounds like a good deal. They charged me 3% of bt. fee and the max is $45. I have a balance of 3000 to transfer and $2000 oweing MBNA and another $700 owing to Citibank USA. One more question to ask: Did they delay to post payment like some banks? How's their customer service? Idon't have any Chase bank accounts and can I make payments from other bank accounts? Thanks again.

Chase online bill presentment is sssslllloooowwww. It takes 2 days to process and post due to volume according to customer service.

Direct Merchants Bank posts payments the same day if received by 4PM CST, and Juniper posts the same day if received by 11PM EST.

    George,

Thanks for your reply. I may apply for the card before May 8. Apple Instant Loan charged me interest every single day on the $2000 balance and $700 on Citibank USA at 0% for six months. I think they have instant approval on that offer and I knew pre-select offers means nothing. They have to pull credit report to give you credit.

    Rina,

Some banks take up to 3 days to post your payments like AT&T Universal Cards, Fleet Bank and some banks like BofA,Discover Card, Citibank USA posted your payments on the next business day. It depends on their own policy. Usually I don't use the card until they post my payments.
