Unfortunately there's another ideology with which we must now do battle. Saddam, Bin Laden et al, believe the world should be 100% Muslim. We should ALL be commanded to study the Quaran all day, pray 10 times a day, to the east of course and live on $2 a month while all the treasures of our societies go to the human Gods we must obey. We, on the other hand believe that the only Moral way to run a society is with freedom and liberty. Beating within the heart of EVERY man/woman is a God given desire to be free. Freedom is not Americas gift to the world, it's Gods gift to mankind. The clash between these two civilizations is what we see played out on the battlefield of Iraq and Afghan. I knew of all the conspiracies, and the IRS thievery, the lying-cheating-stealing politicians and all the crap I've heard you mention many times before. It was VERY difficult to get all of that stuff worked through, and I still have a long way to go. But I was MISERABLE. At every turn I was looking for proof that all that I suspected was true. I just HAD to be right so I could tell all the people who "just don't seem to get it" that "I told you so". Looking over my shoulder all the time, "waiting for the other shoe to drop" was a miserable way to live. I used to tell everyone to "WAKE THE HELL UP AND SEE THE FUTURE". Hell, I guess I still do sometimes. But at least today it's not everyone, just a few Liberals with whom I disagree. LOL The hardest thing I had to come to terms with was my own limitations. Don't get me wrong, i strongly believe in SELF-DEFENSE. . . Don't confuse humility with passiveness or harmlessness with pacificity. One last point that needs to be revisted- Regardless, of my views, your views, the world's views. . . this war in Iraq, if not ended soon, has a VERY HIGH chance of starting a WWIII. It's as simple as connect the dots. Just because other wars haven't lead to WWIII doesn't mean one can forever roll the dice without hitting craps. If that makes me paranoid, a "conspiracy theorist", unpatriotic, or angry, so be it. I studied political science in college, specifically zero-sum games relating to nuclear war, under one of the foremost poli. scientists in America.(one of those guys who counsels the joint chiefs of staff on a regular basis) so those who think i'm full of BS needs to do some research on the opinions of most of the "think tanks" in every country, concerning this war. Give one to SEARS ! Thank you Sears IT IS ALL ABOUT HOW YOU TREAT THE PROTECTORS OF OUR LAND. I assume you have all seen the reports about how Sears is treating its reservist employees who are called up? By law, they are required to hold their jobs open and available, but nothing more. Usually, people take a big pay cut and lose benefits as a result of being called up... Sears is voluntarily paying the difference in salaries and maintaining all benefits, including medical insurance and bonus programs, for all called up reservist employees for up to two years. I submit that Sears is an exemplary corporate citizen and should be recognized for its contribution. I suggest we all shop at Sears, and be sure to find a manager to tell them why we are there so the company gets the positive reinforcement it well deserves. This is definitely one to pass on. It just won't happen. they don't understand cause and effect. They scream all this stuff about it is for 911 or to bring peace and protect our freedoms.
