I have received collection letters from Laurence Hecker in the past and sent DV. Hecker was working through Pinnacle Credit Services. I received a letter from Hecker saying that they have ceased collection activities and returned the file to their client. About 3 months later Pinnacle credit has reported on my CR. Now I have received dunning from Vision Financial working through Pinnacle. I have DV's filled out and ready to to both Pinnacle and Vision as I write this. But I would like to know the best way to handle this before I send these letters. Thanks for taking the time to respond

Edit: By the way this debt id past SOL

I'm not a lawyer, but I would send them a letter stating that the debt is past the SOL too. That is, if you're 100% sure the SOL has run. If they want to go as far as suing you, you would have an absolute defense. Chances are they will back down.
