Thank you all so much especially Doc & KHM. I believe Doc invented the trick before I got here and KHM revived it. Tonight I checked our 2 reports and 5 hard inq's are gone on each. No score change yet but tomorrow may show a change. We now have no hard inq's on EX. We are in 7th heaven. If I forgot anyone here, just tell me. I will thank anyone involved in Doc's trick.
Dang I am jealous I missed out on the trick. After experian refused to investigage I sent my on personal experian lady(long story) a dispute and stated they could ignore it but I wanted the dispute for my records. That should give away the upcoming lawsuit. I also quoted the FCRA about how they have to investigate any and all info on my report and I included the FTC quote that states inquiries do not even have to be placed on our credit report in case they feel like saving money. Of course experian will maintain their high and mighty stance and get burned. I have them on like 66 FCRA violations so far and rising.
Sorry to hear that you missed out picantel. I got lucky as the trick only lasted a couple of days. Maybe it will come back again sometime. I always check this board every day for credit tips. I know how you feel because if I had been around earlier we probably would have bumped off our EQ hards. We are still hopeful but you never know.
Here is our update on the 10 deletions. We each got a CE score increase of 10 points for 5 deletions each. 2 points per deletion. Since my husbands credit is older than mine as he is older than me, I thought I might get a different score increase for the same amount of deletes. But we got the same. Backtracking just a tad here. We only disputed our hard inquiries from the last 2 years. No softs. We have open credit card accounts on all of the hard inquiries deleted. I was worried that 1 or more of the accounts might be suspended because of the disputes. Nothing bad happened. We charged on several of our accounts today. Hey Doc, do ya got any more tricks up your sleeve?
All inquiries that were still in dispute are gone! I have 2 that were verified (Chrysler - my daughters car & Household - new CC). The BOA is dated 9/15/2000. I am going to make sure that it is deleted tomorrow. ????? Why didn't my score go up?
Our scores increased the following day after the deletions took place. I think it takes a full 24 hours to get the score effect. I hope something else on your report didn't counteract the deletions.
