I had disputed 12 inquires with TU last week (exactly 7 days from today) on the phone with a CSR as of today I have only 2 inquires. Hopefully my score will feel it!

1 is the blasted intersections from worthknowning (not doing that again)

the other is from an ins. company I know I did not sign anything with. Any ideas on how to get rid of this one?

I just got a letter from them, saying they don't dispute inquiries, blah blah blah! I have to go thru OC to dispute them. I can't call TU, I go thru an affiliate, and they don't accept phone calls. Any ideas? I have WAY too many inq. on TU, need help!

Congrats on your deletions though. That's wonderful news!!

Played very stupid on the phone. Here is the dialogue, I still remember it

KB: "Excuse Ma'am what are these things? (asked about inquires)
CSR: They are inquires, when you apply for credit they pull a copy of your report creating an inquires
KB: I do not know these people, I have never applied for anything with them. been in same house for 15 years, no need to apply with 5 mortgage (I live with my mom, she's ill, so I still have the same address from first tl until I moved back a year ago, keeps CRA thinking I have never moved) companies, have same car 10 years and so on.
CSR: Well let me investigate them for you since you did not ask for their services
KB: Investigate them? What will that do?
CSR: If they cannot provide proof, we delete. It will help you.
KB: Thank you so much, I really appreciate it, I do not understand all this stuff. (Okay and I live at Creditnet)
    CSR: Anything else?
KB: No Ma'am, I thank you for educating me, Have a nice day

    And the struggle continues.

That is SO awesome. I am laughing but hey, it seemed to work like a charm. Congrats! Maybe you should join a theatrical company.

I am in politics, I have a government relations firm.
Government is just like theatre, If you believe it exists, otherwise it is just a figment of someone's imagination.

Thank God some men and women decided to believe in a Constitution and a Declaration of Independce. GOD, I LOVE THIS COUNTRY!!!!

Transunion bumpage is working. I have been pulling my free report once a day from them (I have been denied credit in the past 60 days) and about every five days I have seen about 3-4 hards fall off. All my hards are gone from april of this year and back.

So you order your report online. But do you get an online copy of the report, or do you get a hardcopy by mail?

The online delivery generates an INQ in the third (soft) section. The mail delivery generates a disclosure INQ in the first (hard) section.

    Saar,

Is it your opinion that we should use "online delivery" exclusively in order to avoid the hard inquiry problem?

    Thanks

Dimitri, how many inquiries do you have? When you order online, it pulls a soft. Do you mean that those softs are bumping hards?? How long have you been doing this?
I have 11 hards, plus a couple of hards from TU that I'm going to fight them on. I don't seem to have that many softs though, so I'm wondering how it would work!!

There's no hard INQ problem. It's a soft either way, but if it's delivered by mail, the INQ appears in the first section, which (primarily) lists the hard ones.

Has anyone else tried this? Are you viewing it online or by mail? If you are recieving it by mail (hard disclosure), are you 100% positive it is not counting as a hard, thereby lowering your score?

receiving it by mail doesn't count as a hard inquiry!! It's a TU consumer disclosure, no points lost!!

The TU disclosure shows up in the hard column, when you get it in the mail. I am blocked so I cannot see it online
