I know some cards, such as Amex, have a blacklist and if you filed bk and included one of their accounts, then you can never get another card through them without paying off what you bk'd on.

Sooooo, my question is this...are most cards like this? Hubby had about a dozen or so very prime cards with huge cl's when he filed for bk. Does this mean even after the bk falls off his credit report he will not be able to get another good card. (He does have a good cl through DMB and through CapOne, but there isn't much else left for him.)

Thanks for posting this, but that's not what I'm asking this time...lol. I'm asking if he can get a card with say...oh...Chase...after the BK falls off his credit report in ten years or if he is on their blacklist for good. Do they keep records of those who have filed for bk and included their account or do they depend on the bk to show up on the credit report and once its gone, then its a new start?

I know somewhere in that post there was a blacklist of creditors that would never give you anything if you filed against them. I'll take a look for it.
