11 accounts with the same CA

OK, OK, that's alot. Back in 98, one of my kids became extremely sick. You know the story, money gone, bills piled up.

Anyway, of these 11, 3 of them are paid. I am wondering how I can go about disputing these withough triggering new collection activity on the rest.

Some background. I do remember receiving notices, but they will have no proof that I received them (regular mail, no RR). The 8 that are not paid total $1350.00.

A couple of the collection accounts are for OC that are no longer in business. I assume then that there will not be any records when validating.

Another one appears to have been bought by another CA. The new tradeline from the new CA states the account as paid, but not the first CA.

Anyway, how do you suggest I go about getting rid of these damn things. This one CA constitutes 95% of the bad credit I have.

    Thanks

start by disputing with the CRA's, then send validation(refernces all the accounts necessary)

if you wake up any "sleeping dogs" then send validation for those accounts as well.

    LET THE FIGHT BEGIN!!!
    good luck
