i found this board 3 months ago, and started the disputes with the CA's and CRA's. i am happy to say that in the 3 months i have managed to get 12 DELETIONS.and i am no longer afraid of those damn collectors.all because of this board! thanks again.and here is the breakdown: EQUIFAX 1.united credit national bank 2.ACE program 3.genesis financial solutions 4.arrow financial services 5.kars-yes(REPO!) 6.south florida acceptance corp.(REPO!) EXPERIAN 1.burdines 2.ACE program 3.united credit national bank 4.genesis financial services TRANS UNION 1.ACE program 2.united credit national bank
the derogs were: kars-yes-11,500.00 burdines-575.00 ACE program-250.00 United Credit National Bank-421.00 s fla acc corp-8,500 i used the validation letter, then the intent to sue when they didnt respond in 30 days(only ACE responded on time). after the intent to sue letter, i started an investigation with the CRA's and all of them got knocked off except Kars-yes.then i gave them another intent to sue letter that gave them 10 days to respond, and i started another investigation on the CRA's. after the 30 days they did not verify and it was deleted. im not done yet! and i think this method has worked good so far. i guess its easier for them to not verify to the CRA's, than for them to remove it themselves because they had no way to verify that it was my debt. (looking at what i just wrote, i cant believe its me! 3 months ago i didnt know the first thing about credit.but i am learning!watch out CA's!) ***Stay away from a program called ACE, they give you a credit card with a 400.00 limit,the catch? 350.00 is already used in a stupid pack they make you buy,and you dont ever get a credit card but you get a bill.these jerks have been on my report for 5 frekin years! just a little info so it wont happen to you!!

Wow! That's really great. I'm having heck of a time with Arrow Financial. They are going to force me to get down and dirty with them. Hmmm. It was just a matter of time. Did you feel like you had a hard time with them?
i spoke to at least 5 different people, and had to send them 2 intent to sue letters.very hard to deal with.but dont give up,they will cave in sooner or later.
how did you get genesis removed? I have reported them to everyone and their dog, sent val. letters, and nothing. I have not sent an intent to sue letter. should I just do that? Do you have the information for their agent?
i sent them the intent to sue letter, then i disputed it with the CRA's. its easier for them not to verify that for them to have to take it off. i sent the intent to sue letter to: Genesis Financial Solutions 104 E. Beeline Ln. Harker Heights, Tx 76548 the day after you mail it, dispute it with the credit bureaus.see if it works for you. GOOD LUCK!
congratulations josethemar. good job. talking about the board: this board continues to amaze me. i am so glad i found this exceptionally group of talented and helpful people. people here are always ready to help. look at many of the other newbies threads. i am in absolute awe! i was looking for advice on several areas and this board has something on every topic you can think of. some of these topics can be difficult to discuss with anyone in person. meaning your friends etc. i do not know about you guys but i would not feel comfortable talking about many of these topics with co-workers, friends, even family. when i read some of the threads in this board, i get tears in my eyes - sorry for being cheesy guys. but, this board has done that to me. anyway, good luck to everyone. long live credit net!
