I use PG every day to track my slow progress, and I've been counting the days for three 2-year old inquiries to drop. It's June 9th, and it still shows one as old as May 2, 2002. Anybody else have this type of slow deletion from the CR? It's a very tiny thing, but at least it would *feel* like progress (smile).
gold, I don't think that PG updates the INQ section on even a monthly basis. My guess is that they update INQS every 3-4 months.
The inquiries on the actual report, should be updated from the three credit bureaus when they pull the report. Chances are the CRA which the inq's are from didn't delete the inq on schedule, the best way to check this is to get a copy of your credit report from the CRA.
As far as PG updating, I have had an inquiry one day and it showed on my PG report the next day. I am looking at a hard copy snail mailed from EX and see that the report date is 5-22-004. The Date of Requst on inquiry was 5-2-2002. Under comments it states: This inquiry is scheduled to continue on record until 6-2004. So I guess they don't remove the inquiry until the following month (13 month year) 2 years after the original inquiry.
