So I got copies of my 3 reports last month and saw the usual suspects that are still lingering. But I noticed something odd...an entry from SALLIE MAE (2 reports show Florida, 1 shows PA) for a student loan (I assume it is a student loan) that was opened in 1986. The problem is this student loan was included in and discharged via BK about 15 years ago!!! WTF?!?! I have a few numbers for SM customer service in Florida but I wanted to see if anyone had a number for a department that could actually *do* something?
I would contact t he CRA and alert them them that this loan was discharged in t he BK. there is a good c hance it will be deleted. A similer ssituation happen to me, and it was deleted. But it was not a student loan.
