2 Discover card accounts

    my first Discover card came in the mail about 6 months ago but then about 3 weeks later another Discover card came with my name but a different account # on it. I called Discover customer service to tell them I received another card with my name with a different account #. I told them that I would like to cancel the 2nd card and they did right over the phone. Does cancelling this card affect my score or history?
