Amex called my job for work verification today (actually just called my voicemail at work). The lady then told me when I called them back that they were able to approve me for the AMEX Gold card (standard charge card) in addition to the Gold Delta Skymiles card. As soon as I get the Delta, I will try to switch it to the optima platinum. Thanks for all the help in encouragement. I never would have thought it possible. I should have both cards within 10 days.
I'm jealous too! I STILL can't get an AMEX card. Hell, my mom just got one and I helped her rebuild her credit. =o(
Congrats doc...I will never get another one b/c a relative got one in my name and jacked it all up..Oh well,,discover here I come.... P.s. when will your contract be up? I need your services.
