Thanks to the help of my friends here, 2 more contrary TL's gone from DH's report. Had to send intent to sue on one, the other didn't validate on the supposed deficiency balance after the repo was removed last month. Now I gotta start on the other 2! Thanks! Patti
Congrats!!! I wish I was having the same fortune...seem to be moving backwards, lol. You heard my tu fako dropped 200 points...;O Still trying to see if I am past SOL for 99 repo. According to Whychat, I dont have to worry because I never received anything before or after the sale. Of course, this doesnt mean they would show up to court and admit to it, if ya know what I mean. Nik, I couldn't believe that when I saw your post. I'm just doing DH's one at a time. I'm sure glad to hear that about the repo stuff. Ours was in late 98 and it was deleted last month. Have you disputed yours at all?
Yeah, I disputed...it was deleted a couple of months ago, but magicaly reappeared last week. OC says the chargeoff date in 02/03 when it was actually in 99. Apparently it has been verified. Such a long story. TU is checking on dates now. Ex filed bk while we were still married. Didnt find out until divorce trial a yer later. All of our remaining joint accts say Inc in bk, even though I didnt file. The only one who doesnt say that is this charge off. Apparently, they never got the bk info...which I guess doesnt matter, since my name isnt on it. (I know, doesnt make sense since all of the other joint accounts are reported as bk). All things aside, they may come after me for it, not sure yet. This is why I was gathering info. Frankly, as long as I dont get sued, I will let this thing rot on my report. At least if I have some grounds that they cant do anything to me, then I may try again. Gosh, this sucks!
Congrats! I just got word from my online Exp. dispute that one was deleted and the other now shows paid, never late. Doing a huge happy dance for you ... for me ... for all of us making progress ... and for four20nik, too, 'cause she got that truck before everything went south! ) peace, delilah
