#1. I sent a an Untimely DV letter to a CA and I just received the little green card back. The signature appeared to be a stamp, and there was no date. So, I assume since they have no legal obligation to respond to an untimely DV, and they didn't date it, that they won't. Is this some sort of strategy on their part?? How should I proceed???

#2. On a separate account. I sent another untimely DV to a different CA. This time I received a letter that said "enclosed you will find information that substantiates our client claim" blah, blah, blah. When I looked at the evidence, it was a credit card(his) receipt that was signed by my Father. I am a Junior and share the same name as him. Also, for a brief time I used his address as my permanent address. So, his address shows up in my credit file under the personal info sections. What is the best way for me to have this removed. I informed my dad, and shrugged he it off. Is there anything I can do to directly. I do not trust him to take care of it. We are not on very good terms right now. He did not do it intentionally....

    thank you in advance!

    1) No, they're largely idiots,

    2) Dispute the obsolete addresses, name variations and the account tradeline itself through the credit reporting agencies. Should be deleted.

Re: the validation you did receive, I would recommend responding to them (CMRRR of course) that the account in question is not your, and belongs to your father. This debt is not your responsibility, it is your father's. Nip this one in the bud now.
