First- do old accounts that have been paid hurt your credit score?

second- if child support division is taking money out of my pay and it is showing on my credit report does that hurt my score?

1- If they are older than 2 years (generally speaking) NO..... However make sure they are reporting correctly (ie)

    2. It (again) depends on how the TL is reporting.... If it is reporting 100% accurately then (probably not)

Child support payments/accounts are not reported to CRAs.

Actually Greg, in some states they are......(and) I should have added above that *unless* you are late or miss a payment then it won't hurt IF it is reporting accurately....

If you are late... then YES it will hurt your CR
