Tell what you guys think of this wed site. They claims to give people up to 20k visa/master no credit check! It suppose to be BankCard Credit Fund is a service of The Pantheon Council of Churches, Temples and Mosques, Incorporated, a Maryland-based church and religious corporation promoting interfaith understanding and tolerance. They claim to know that the CRAs are not fair so they won't use them. Please tell me what you think. I am considering getting one if it is true. http://www.thepantheon.us/bcf/cc-4.htm

I dont like the smell of this!

uuh, The site and the whole idea gives me the jibbers.

Trying to merge an AMEX type of idea witha Credit acrd... "accepted whereever visa and mastercard are accepted". that doesnt mean THIS is a visa.

also, as per below, $20,000 is your potential eventual MAX. seems like a Cap1 and and AmEx merge, mixed with some MLM.

    just my .002

    from the site:

Q.. What will be my credit limit?

    A. The credit limit is initially capped at $20,000. However, this is a maximum value that does not reflect your initial monthly spending limitations - in other words, the first day that you use your card you will not immediately be able to withdraw $20,000 in cash or purchase a $20,000 item. As with American Express, we do not have any pre-set monthly spending or cash advance limitations. Your record with us determines how much you can spend, up to your limit of $20,000. When your account is activated there will be no pre-set spending limitations, although your cash advance limitation will be approximately $100 for the first 30 days. Because we do not use traditional credit reporting systems we need to get to know you.

I noticed it didn't say much about if a person defaults on the loan.... I mean if they don't report to the CRAs what motivation is there (other than from a moral standpoint) to pay your debt to them??

I think I might give a YELLOW FLAG on it...PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

They need SS# for WHAT??? They DON'T report to CRA'S but they need SS# ???

I'll bet $10 bucks these guys are operating out of a small apartment in Moscow. There's zero chance you're not going to get screwed.

If I had to guess, I'd say that these guys were using PayPal (or a similar service) to issue you a debit card.

In any case, the whole thing is obviously a scam. I especially like the part that says your account will immediately have a $5,000 balance on it, but that you won't actually owe them that money...

Sounds like somebody's trying to pull a receiveables scam....

There was some other card somebody mentioned here...

You have a limit of $5,000 but it is @ $5,000 when you get it...if you want to spend $500 on the card...you have to pay $500 FIRST!!!

IF YOU DONT PAY, MAYBE THEY DO REPORT.

THEY DONT CONSIDER YOUR REPORT WHEN YOU APPLY OR WHEN YOU NEED A LIMIT INCREASE.

    THATS THE THOUGHT, ANYWAY.

    BEWARE! SCAMMMMMMMMMM!!!

(oops, forgot, all caps, sorry, oops again!)

I'm scared just thinking that a religious group is providing credit services! Who's their marketing genious? Benny Hana (sp?) They probably will send offers in the mail to heal you for a small donation. Probably threaten you with an act of God if you're late. It's funny how the word 'Pantheon' is used in the same title as churches and mosques, since Pantheon is typically associated with a building dedicated to many gods of a secular nature.

"Bad credit? We will exorcise those demons from you, oh unbeliever!"

Again, kinda scary. Stay away from them.

I was looking for a job that I could do at home and I clicked on a link that said $16 an hour. The card is suppose to go with the job some how. When I click on "Apply". It said "NOTE: This page is for those who are also interested in employment with Jobs Across America. After registering, you will receive both the credit and employment packages." Do you still think this is a scam?

I've got another red flag for you. The application site says "This Site Uses Secure Technology", and nothing indicates that the application site is secure. It's wide open.

Lemme guess, they couldn't afford to pay for a security certificate, yet offering everyone a $20K credit card?

Thank you. I will stay away from them. After closer examination you need to pay more then 5k for the credit card to work, what a scam! This would have been the most expensive job I ever applied for. I knew I could count on you guys for help.
