Has anyone applied for and been approved for a second Bofa card. I got my card in Sept 02 through Robin. I wanted to apply for another one, but don't want to waste the inquiry if there is no way a 2cd acct would be approved. Thanks.
Yes, I did that. I had one card, then applied for another. Then I combined the two so that I would have a large credit limit. For some reason, they wouldn't approve a limit increase, but they approved a new card with a 12,500 limit.
I applied for BofA Platinum MC two yrs ago and I got approved for $5000.After a year, I applied for BofA Platinum Visa and they approved me for $6300 with 9.9% fixed APR. They told me that you can have as many cards as you want. Ron.
I applied 3 times. Consolidated two of the cards. Waiting for my 9 mth review and at that time I will possibly consolidate the 3rd card.
I had both a regular Bank of America Visa and a Dividend Miles Visa at the same time, although the regular account has been closed. I also have a line of credit with them (unsecured, not home equity LOC). I had all three at the same time, although I think the line of credit was through a different department. All were originally NationsBank and I think all were also Sovran before the series of mergers, just in case anyone is interested.
