Got a call today from a collection agency that I previously paid for deletion. They did delete.

Now they call me telling me I have another account with the same OC, requesting payment since I quickly paid the last one.

Since it's only an amount of less than $200, what would be a good strategy? They have only called. There is no record of collection on my credit reports.

I guess they expect me to just fork over money based solely on their phone call request?
    Are they nuts???

I think I should wait it out, check my reports, then have them validate if they stick it on my report without mailing me a bill.

I've never had this before, without a bill and only a phone call.

send them a validation request now before they put it on your report...

its better to stop it before it gets there then to play clean-up...
