I've had a good day today: Citibank $1,500 limit increase Ultimate Electronics $800 limit increase Home Depot $750 limit increase (probably because that's all I asked for) I had a few turn-downs too but there were lots of creditors I didn't call. Tomorrow I'll try Target Visa, Providian (yeah, right -- I'm not holding my breath) and State Farm Bank. George, in another thread someone said they used "your number" for Target Visa credit limit increases. Which number is that? $3,050 without even really trying. Not long ago I didn't have $3,050 combined credit on all accounts. Heck, not long ago I didn't HAVE any accounts.
I THINK THIS IS A "INSIDE" EMPLOYEE LINE...1-888-755-5759 "GUEST AUTHORIZATIONS"...or some such words... "IS THE GUEST MAKING A PURCHASE?" "IS THE GUEST IN YOUR STORE" "OH...YOUR "GEORGE" I had my wife call the # on the back of the card...SHE GOT "WE DO THE INCREASES AUTOMATICALLY...YOU DON'T ASK"
I won't be able to check Equifax until tomorrow, but there's nothing on TU or Experian. The Citi increase came right out and said there was no inquiry. I also have done the automated Ultimate Electronics request limit increase thing every month since I've had the card and been denied every time (until today) without an inquiry being pulled. The one that worried me was the Home Depot increase, but so far so good.
Don't you feel like cancelling the card when they don't grant the credit limit increase? I think that would be my reaction, unless I think that they are already giving me much more credit than I think I should have already.
There is NO SUCH THING AS TOO MUCH CREDIT~~~ TOO MUCH FUN GIRL TOO PRETTY CAR TOO FAST ...... There are so many good songs on this album that it is difficult to pick favorites. Of course, the first single (which was also the first hit for Singletary), "Too Much Fun," is one of those fun-loving tunes that literally makes you sing out loud right along with the record. The chorus of the song says it all, "Too much fun, what's that mean/It's like too much money, there's no such thing/It's like a girl too pretty, with too much class/Bein' too lucky, a car too fast/No matter what they say I've done/Well, I ain't never had too much fun." Sorry Daryle, but this song is "too" good!
