Got a letter 12/26 from them saying sorry your income sucks, call if you have additional income, I called the pulled another report. I told the woman I had a charge off on my report but I have a letter from the creditor saying delete, she said to fax it, we hung up. On 12/28 I called and said I never got the fax # (I was really curious on my app status), the guy said we need your work #, WHILE we were on the phone they called my work to verify (hubby & I work together and HE answered the phone). Anyway the guy comes back says I am approved for $5500 Gold AA card I'll get it by 1/14/02. Today I get 3 letters all with the same reference #. Letter 1 dated 12/28 says send proof of employment, letter from EXEC. on CO. letterhead. Letter 2 dated 12/29 says congrats your card will be there in 7-10 days from the date of this letter. Letter 3 says, your BT was not done due to different rates, from original offer call for the new rates (I didn't do a BT, yet). Which one should I go by? I fudged my income by about $2000. Which letter is right? I think I may have called on 12/28 AFTER they printed that letter, what do you all think? KHM
I did! lol, they have no record of ANY of the letters being sent, but they reassured me I was approved blah blah blah. KHM
I had the same problem. Except I received one letter saying I was approved and another letter saying I was declined on the same day. Both were dated the same. I have since received the letter with my Pin #. I am waiting to see if the card comes this week. Anybody have the 301 number just in case. Mike G.
I was denied due to lack of income although online I got the " we need more time", I called when I got the "you need more money" letter and added hubby's income. Then this, but I think I called on 12/28 late in the afternoon, so they probably already printed out their, "we can't verify employer" letter. We'll see.
