I saw it somewhere but where in the FCRA or anywhere does it say a creditor has 30 days to provide notice you have been declined, the reason, and what CRA they used?

I don't believe there is a "30" day time limit. Yes that have to give you reason and which report they used, but they don't have to do it in 30 days.

The question would be then how long is too long. I applied for a mortgage on june 12. Waited forever and never heard back from them. Got another mortgage and in the final week during the contract signing rates went up 1/8 which is $2309 in interest for me extra.
