    I KNOW...WE BOTH GOT A 30 SECOND DENIAL ON JUNIPER...685-698 F.I.C.O.
    (WIFE) 725-741 F.I.C.O.

    I disputed a DENIAL on CITIBANK...all I got was a second inquiry...HOW NICE.
I would try to get my F.I.C.O. SCORE DOWN (590-650) SO I COULD GET THOSE CARDS...BUT THAT IS STUPID!!!!
    I'm shooten' for 750-800!!!

    just a guess

maybe the reason people with high credit scores are getting denials is cuz they are using a cc profitabitlity type score?

you have many options - bt game - don't pay interest - or if you do - not much - hence, not as profitable as others with less options - revolve their debt - rarely pay off cards completely.

only sense I can make of it

That's my theory also, Kelly. People who have several cards cannot be trapped and backed into a corner. That seems to be a trend lately.

So they give you a BT deal, get your high balances off your high % rate cards, then BAM!!! up goes your interest rate. You have nowhere to go. They win.
