So---I get the frickin' medical collection off in mid-January--dated 1996--zoom 47 points into the 700 club (701) with EQ--FICO--politely request a c/l increase on Citibank VISA--get a denial letter stating "our policy...your income...blah, blah, blah"...oh really?--and just when did you ask me about ANY income on my Citibank account page? So--decided to check the score again--DOWN to 668?? #1: Inquiries #2: Level of deliquency ('scuse me--what deliqency--when--where?). All from ONE stinkin' Citibank inquiry dated 1/22? And why did you score my god damn FICO if your policy is yada, yada, yada. 33 POINTS from one more inquiry--is this possible??? Please advise people---I netted a 14 point gain for a deletion of collection and adding one inquiry??? Getting a beer--and setting up a pentogram in the living room for the inventor of FICO Cheers--or should I say jeers?-- David
After reading all the posts about disputing inquiries---I always thought--"yeah, they're mine---I won't dispute them---I won't manufacture/manipulate my score..."--ala "I'll walk the moral high ground..." Screw the high ground---I'm out for blood---33 points---give me a ass-slappin', your-momma-don't-dance, your-baby's-ugly, my-lawyer-can-beat-up-your-lawyer break... B'sides, I can probably wear my house slippers walkin' the low ground--- Inquiry pages printed---off in the mail tomorrow--"I don't know nuthin' 'bout no inquiries--who's been in here messin' up by Equifax?..." Go ahead and make your minimum wage salary you little no-fact-checkin', lyin', GED, non-graduatin' can't-upsell-and-that's-why-they-canned-your-ass-at-McDonald's buffoons... David
