I have been working to get all of these paid medical collections off my reports. My son had a kidney transplant a few years back, so I had quite a few of these. Most of them were paid by insurance, but not until they went to collection.

Most of the time I would just see small increases in my scores as the TL's fell off.

When I got the second to last one removed my PG EQ FAKO went from 648 to 652.

Well today the last derog on EQ fell off and my PG EQ FAKO is up to 690!

I was a 604 on October 1st of 2003. The day I found this board.

    Thanks Creditnetters.

Congrats! You might want to check your true EQ FICO. My fako reports on PG as 725, but my true FICO is 741, an 18 point diff. You might already be at 700 and just don't know it.
