Heres the case: Aug. 2000- sent in dispute to Eqifax for State Student Aid Sep. 2000- came back verified Jan. 2001 -sent letter to State Student Aid via the address given by equifax on Sept. report Jan/Feb 2001- State Student Aid letter was returned to me by the post office because address was unknown (it was written exactly as given by equifax, I checked and rechecked) Feb/March 2001- sent another letter to Equifax asking for the correct address, change the dates or delete the item. I even sent copies of the envelope and post card left on my door to pick up my letter at the post office March 2001- came back verified (note: I did not ask for an investigation only a correct address, corrected dates or deletion) Now what? Another letter threatening lawsuit? I am tired of this crap from Equifax. Samples of what I should say would also be helpful. Thanks
Sounds like an educational loan problem. Is there an underlying problem besides the address issue? I mean, do you dispute information that State Student Aid is reporting on you?
