From what most say this is a good number to have, but I am wondering if lenders(mortgage) views these individually or combined for both spouses? I am trying to cut down my total to 5 cards and my husband will have 4 tradelines, now we they consider this 9 tradelines? I realize that we each have are only credit, but when I got the merged reports they seem to combine all the accounts and amounts?
