I am simply reporting to whomever cares to know. I had 4 different collection agencies listing 6 hard inquiries on my report with equifax. I placed a call to equifax and spoke with an agent I simply told her that these inquiries were from collection agencies and stated they should be listed as ARs or AMs. The agents asked for the dates and CAs name. 7 days later I received in the mail a free updated Credit Report showing all the deletions. I am reporting this because I have read on this and others boards about the problem with dealing with Collection Agency and hard inquiries on a CR. This worked for me. I just have to try it with Transunion and Experian. Hope this will motivate someone else to take the step. Since Finding this board a less more than a month I have managed to get 14 deletions through validations and CRA disputes. Still have pending investigations and more DVs in the pipe. Waiting on results. My spouse had a small complaint about all the CMRRs involved until I mentioned the greater benefit of gaining deletions. AFNI dropped TU, EX AND EQ NCO dropped EX and EQ An OC TU, EX and EQ 6 hard inquires EQ
What happened with TransUnion? I tried this yesterday with TransUnion because I have 2 collection agencies with hard inquiries. They said it was okay for them to be there. They also said collection agencies have a right to your full report (hard inquiry)...just curious what happened when you talked with TransUnion.
