The SOL in MO is 7 years and I am 4 months away. Should I send a validation letter or other at this point. I am thinking that if I do not respond they may not even file a case in time. Or do I send a letter requesting them to repsond in 30 days and then only 3 months away.

3 months is still plenty of time to file a suit. If they cannot validate now, hopefully they cannot validate in court either, and will not sue because they do not have the supporting documentation to prove their case to the judge.

Personally, I would send a validation letter.

If they would file before providing validation, it's continued collection activity.

I agree- send them a debt validation letter right away.
