As most of your know, I currently have CC accounts with Amex, Citibank and Chase, whom I consider to be the top 3 CC issuers. In your opinion, who is the 4th best issuer? On my original list MBNA was ranked #4, but I recently had to downgrade their rating I'd appreciate any input. Thanks, Saar
Bank of America. Since they were the first, I guess they learned a lot (BankAmericard->Visa). Great CS and very prompt posting. Reasonable interest and bal transfers at Prime for the life of the transfer. H
I would give Juniper 4th place. Good customer service and high credit limits. The only reason I would rate it in 4th place would be the non competitive interest rate. Dani
Just went over the terms on my Fidelity Platinum Plus MC and it doesn't say anything about 2-cyle billing????
I would say Bank of America. Their customer service is very good. I called them recently and upgraded my gold card to the Platinum. My interest rate is 9.9% with free balance transfers @6.50 % for the life of the balance. The rep I spoke with sent me a letter confirming our discussion and thanking me for choosing Bank of America (with her own signature). Nice touch.
MBNA is #4 ...... I currently have CC accounts with Amex (blue) , Citibank (plat select) and Chase (gold), whom I consider to be the top 3 CC issuers. I consider MBNA #4, by far.....I also have Providian Which I keep in the Sock drawer....Only need the age, first CC since Feb, 99'.....Before this I didn't exist to the CRA'S.... 1. Citi 2. Chase 3. AMEX 4. BOA Well I don't know much about MBNA yet but I hoping to find out soon. But I am really impressed with BOA soo far. I put Amex under Chase because of the struggles I had to go through with AMEX but with Chase, it went very smooth, one shot deal because I had never dealt with them before and they were good enough to give me the gold and I was informed they give credit increases every 4 months.
