Disputed two inquiries with Equifax. Here are the results: Southwestern Bell-put a hard inquiry in my report after I had been slammed-Deleted Risk Management Alternatives: Collection account-No deletion. Reason::"The company's name/account is currently appearing on your credit file. Inquiries are a matter of record of all companies that have accessed your credit file. Regular inquiries remain on file for two years." Say what? Here is an interesting piece of info-I disputed these with CSC in Houston, but the results I received were from the CSC in Atlanta.
One more thing-I don't know if they even bothered to send a request for validation---it sounds like they just decided not to.
