For thoswe of you keeping track of on-line vs snail mail disputes....

Did an on-line dispute with EQ, 2 derogs. One derog was a CC, 1 x 30 day late, with a last activity of 6 years ago. The other was a student loan with 12 x 120+ days late. Disputed the CC as never late, disputed the student loan as never late.

Disputed both items 28 dyas ago, results came today.

Results: CC remains, student loan deleted from my file. Went from 676 FICO to 708 just for that single deletion.

    Credinet Holiday Onslaught of Disputes.

The best time to dispute stuff is during the season between Thanksgiving and New Year's. People on vacation, shopping, partying and generally otherwise occupied. Staffing is down and CAs, CRAs, etc are hard-pressed to verify within the 30-day time frame.
