Re: for Momof5 I sent a letter to each bureau first. In that letter, I included as much documentation that I had. (I am a pack rat so I have literally every doc!). I didn't use a form letter and I used my own words. One thing that I believe worked in my favor is that I have a high IQ and it shows in my correspondence. By the end of month 1, most of it was gone. I then signed up with EQ and EX online and did my next round of disputes there. When items I KNOW should have been deleted came back verified yet again, I called the CA or OC. This is when I usually caught them with their pants down, so to speak! I used their info, or more importantly, lack thereof, and called the CRAs. I explained what I found at the CA or OC and then the rep at the CRA would put it in dispute for me (when they would normally deem it frivolous)> Last step has been to work with Don Richman @ transunion and Robin Holland at equifax via email. This is where I am right now. I haven't found a power person to work with at Experian yet, but I am working on that. ***Note: NEVER send CRA docs that can be used against you. Look at your documentation, can they twist it? If not, send it! (Stuff like receipts are good!) I had a pay history from a landlord that showed I paid the judgement. I used MY Ch 13 docs to clear up DHs credit report, but did NOT use it for mine! Use your best judgement and then ASK someone here if you are not sure!
