What cards do you currently have - or have you been able to get w/your 500 status? I only have a Cap1 partially secured - $200 limit, had to secure with $99. $39 annual fee
Cap 1 came first. Unsecured but that was in 2000 before we were in a recession. Providian also but again that was in 2000. Recently recieved a Cap 1 kmart offer. first in a long time..
I don't have any cards of my own. I have been added to my husbands accounts. I am afraid to apply for anything on my own!
Lets see... I got Orchard Bank 5/00 & 12/00 Providian gold 3/01 $3000CL (unsecured) Capital One 4/01 $500CL (unsecured) Just approved for Target $200CL (615 EQX) I also applied for K-mart this morning -they first pulled TU (541 on TU online report which never changes no matter what, lol) then this afternoon they pulled EX (594 CE before they pulled 583 after OUCH!) We'll see if approved or not.....
In March 2001, The Bon Ton store card. www.bonton.com In April 2001, 1st Premier, secured In October 2001, FCNB Secured In October 2001, Cap One Secured Total Secured Credit lines....$625 Total Unsecured Credit.........$300. Other than that....Nothing. Not bad for a 580 score.
All unsecured: First Premier: 850 CL FNCC: 350 CL Capital One: 500 CL Providian: 2000 CL Finally got that "late pay notation" on a transferred account off my EXP (YES!), so I am just a hair away from the 600 club on all 3 reports!
8/00 Providian 500 unsecured NOW $1750 8/01 Getsmart $500 unsecured 9/01 Household $300 unsecured 11/01 Gateway $1700 us I think the main reason why my score is so low cause of all the inquiries and I have high balances. Kellie
