Im trying to clean up my cr, I have a judgement on there for 7500 from 1997. I never knew there was a judgement on there until I pulled my reports recently. I dont recall owing this person anything. I havent heard from this peson since 1996. So my question is, should I send letters to the cra disputing this, and risk the chance of reminding this person that they do have a judgement against me and having them trying to collect on it after all these years, or leave well enough alone Thanks for any advice you can give me.
Why not contact the court where the judgment is and get a copy. Also find out who was served, how, etc. Do some research here on getting judgments vacated.
Ok thanks, I was just a bit leary on reminding this person about this judgement. Since I was never served, I wouldnt think anyone else would have. But I will check the records on this thanks for the help
