I have a question I have been attempting to do a little research on my on. But I am finding different answers to this question on the internet and other sources. But when does the 7 year time limit starts clicking on credit report. I have seen answers basically 3 answers but not sure what is correct or accurate right now???? Here is the answers I have seen. 1.) It starts at the last activity date 2.) It starts 180 days from the last activity date after the acct went deliquent 3.) It starts when the creditor reports it as a charge off, which they said it to be months or even a year from deliquent date Also on Transunion report, how can you tell the activity date or charge off date. Is it shown on the area of that states closed???
good letter thanks, might have to use that, Let me see if I got it, date closed 10/1997 on report should be off the report 10/2004 or 3/2005 which date is right so I can make sure I am doing the math correclty. Think I am getting the idea here but need a push here. Also does the FCRA print out a yearly manual of its laws and regulation codes?
