If I have an account that i disputed in 2001, but late report date was 8.99, will the account dissappear in 2008 or 2006?

Also, isnt it accounts paid as agreed stay on your report for ten years?

If the date of last activity was the same as the last report date.

I wanted to ask this question for the means of disputing. I have an account that still has latenesses I wanted dispute, but I am wondering if disputing this now will add an extra year or so on the delete time because I dont want a negative item to stay on my record any longer than it has to. So will opening a dispute draw out the amount of time the information stays on my credit report?

No. It is seven years from the first instance of delinquency, not from last date of activity.
