    Hi Gang,

How the heck is one supposed to be able to calculate the 7 year period on the TU reports.

I had to call TU to get the DLA on an account. I asked her why they don't report the DLA or some date from which the 7 years can be calculated. She replied because we're not required to give that out.

    LOL

    Butch,

Collections, Charge-offs, anything similar are supposed to be calculated, for the 7 year count, from the month/year immediately prior to the commencement of delinquency.

Calling it anything else, isn't acceptable.

    I know Sassy,

But that date is not reported on my TU, and I didn't get a score either.

I had to call them to find out when something was goin to fall off.

    Nodding Butch,

It's a problem all the way around, and none of them report it!

It wouldn't be if the clock started with the date the account was opened for all accounts.
