Sent a 72 hour ITS to a CA on Thursday and I got a call the next day from a very flustered sounding CA rep, more or less asking what they needed to do to make me go away. This was following several â??nutcaseâ? letters, as well as my knowledge gleaned from Cnet on my rights as a consumer. I let the CA know, in no uncertain terms, that unless they sent UDFâ??s to any of the agencies that they had been reporting to, deleting the TL, and never reporting it again, the suit would be entered. The CA tried to tell me that they validated via their last months statement from the OC and that was all that they could get from the OC. I let them know that I wasnâ??t going to provide them with the directions for a full validation, it was their business to know how to do this, but I had evidence that this was never done and they had continued to rack up FCRA violation for continuing to report this debt as unpaid, ever though it had been paid over 3 months ago (I've got my CC statement to prove it). I threw in to the conversation that I was located in the middle of Florida, in a small community, and it probably wouldnâ??t be in their best interest to try to defend a paid debt that they screwed the pooch in reporting incorrectly. The point that really stuck with the CA was the $5000 that I was going to sue for, and he sounded really scared when I told him that unless this was removed immediately the suit would soon follow. THANKS CREDITNETâ??ers , as this is one more down, and I have just 4 more derogs to go!!! For those keeping score at home, Equifax deleted one more, so just 2 to go on there 1 on TU and 1 on Experian!!!!
