9.9% APR Target Visa

    I called Target Visa Customer Service to lower the interest rate of my Target Visa. She told me to hold on the line to review the account payment history. She came back and she told me that she could lower my rate to 9.9% fixed APR. My Target Visa has been opened for almost four months.

    Ron,

    Have you used the card over the past 4 months and did you pay the balance each month?

    I have used my Target Visa in past four months and I paid it off monthly. I used it for grocery and used in Target stores and I used it less than $100 and I paid on time. I paid my bill as soon as the statement close each month.

    I guess it varies from account to account...PERSON TO PERSON

    Mine 15.90%--->12.90%
    Wife 18.90%--->15.90%

    They told my wife she is going to have to WAIT for a LONG TIME till she gets 9.90%...maybe 2004???

    SURE...WERE GOING TO PAY 15.90% or 12.90%...just because TARGET won't give us 9.90%??? NOT!!!!!!!!!!!

    George,

    Sometimes you have to talk to good customer service representative that give you good rate. When I got my card last year and my rate was 15.90%. I have to call three times for lowering my rate and they finally get me down to 12.90%. Today I got really lucky to talk with nice good rep and she could lower my card to 9.9% fixed. Not so many credit card that having 9.9% fixed or lower. I was so happy because I can get my rate down to 9.9% fixed under six months. George, give them a call a few times to request lower rate like me.

    I moved into new house and I don't have any internet access until cable company installed my cable interent services.
